 Cynthia + Stefano | Read Up...
As much as I LOVE Vegas, its neon lights, its character, its sexiness, nightlife, crowds of people at all times, fabulous food, I also love to get away from it. And one of those places is Lake Las Vegas. I think I mentioned before that my absolutely favorite place for small weddings in Vegas is Loews Lake Las Vegas. It is far enough from the Strip not to smell the smoke, and close enough that you can still see the Strip in certain spots

. I love coming to the Lake for jazz concerts, cultural events, some good gelato with my daughter, and I am always thrilled when I get contacted to photograph weddings there! This couple is beautiful, nope , they are just gorgeous! Cynthia and Stefano came all the way from Toronto to say their “I do’s” in front of their closest family and friends. It was a beautiful day, beautiful place and perfect occasion to come together! Thank you guys for allowing me to capture your love and share this event with you! Wish you love, and smiles, and please do not lose the love in your eyes when you look at each other!

Hawaii in the middle of February? Sounds like an awesome idea to me

! While thousands of my fellow photographers came to Las Vegas for WPPI, I escaped the crowded MGM and the winter and went to Hawaii for a week! OMG it feels sooooo gooooood in there! The air, the sun, the beach, the ocean, family time, frozen yogurt with popping boba, halo halo and mochi! Yum to everything!

In the meantime, I had a chance to second-shoot with our family friend Shawn Fields of Black Tie Cinema. Well, what can I say? We got to shoot at the very new and just opened Edition Hotel by Marriott in Waikiki,  the bride was GORGEOUS and family and friends were kind and just fun! Sounds like a perfect recipe for an amazing photo gumbo to me

I really wanted to update with this blog post yesterday, but you know LOVE was in the air and I was busy inhaling it

). Those two are sooooo beautiful and affectionate together: Texan and Oregonian they instantly clicked the moment they met! He’s a cowboy and she is a country girl. I couldn’t have thought of a better spot for their e-session than the one and only Red Rock Canyon. Hope you enjoy!

These two Texans are smart, successful, down to earth, traveling the world, stunning people who came to Las Vegas with a group of their closest friends and family to get married. Well, marrying people is what we do best in Vegas!  Or at least the quickest

Caren and Jeff’s story is sooooo cute! They met at the salon handling curly hair, yes, they both are so cute and curly and I think it was one of the main reasons in making their decision on their photographer

They got married at the Little Church of the West and then we did one of my absolute favorite tours especially for guys looking for a very Vegas-y feel to their photos: the one and only Boneyard, never stopping to amaze me Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas, and of course Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign! It doesn’t get more Vegas than that, baby!

The weather was a bit chilly, especially for Caren, but Jeff was always there to offer her his jacket, a hug, a Krispy Kreme coffee and mini-doughnuts

… You can tell that those two will never get bored with each other, they are absolutely comfortable around one another, caring and respectful. And I think those are the initial components of a strong marriage! And I really want to wish them a very simple thing… Look at each other every single day the way you looked at one another on your wedding day, because I felt magic between you two… And I’m not just saying that…

These guys may be the most amazingly creative and sweet couple right of the bat! They traveled all the way from New York for their 10.10.10 wedding here and were married at Four Seasons! They decided to spend their after wedding Tuesday with me and Shawn by trashing Mink’s dress all over the best locations in Vegas

. Trash the Dress sessions are the perfect way to fix all the mood and busy-ness of your wedding day and bring a more relaxed atmosphere to the shoot in your wedding attire while also choosing cool places to be photographed at! We started at Four Seasons, and then hit all the cools pots that Vegas has to offer! And boy did we HAVE FUN with them! Liam was one of those grooms that  had a head full of ideas, and it was our task to narrow them down to the ones we will shoot…

Since Liam spent a LOT of time here being a kid on trips with his family, we started from the location that he remembers most: Downtown Las Vegas, that’s where it all started after all

Mink loves knitting…

And Liam picked up this weapon in honor of his childhood purchases for the “buy anything you want” $20 his parents would give him when in Vegas…

Haha… This location is one of my faves! Mink was very hungry after the session, and said her favorite place is In-n-out Burger, we didn’t hesitate to shoot out there! And look how happy she is

That look on her face is priceless

Having such a gorgeous bride as Suzie and a very talented groom Joe in Vegas was super fun! They both came from New Zealand to celebrate their wedding and boy, they did it right! Elvis, Showgirls, Little White Wedding Chapel, Neon Boneyard, Vegas sign, reception at Hank’s and even a trip to Nelson Ghost Town! All that made for some eye candy images from their day! Seriously, some shots got me so ecstatic, that I had to leave computer for a bit to set free from that feeling!

Btw, Suzie is not only beautiful, she is also very smart and talented wine maker in New Zealand and Joe is a commercial photographer there (check out his amazing work). Thank you guys for the wonderful time and that wonderful bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from Suzie’s family winery! It was Y.U.M.M.Y!
