Meet this ADORABLE family: Kishaun, Lorenzo and little Khalil. It was a double pleasure to photograph these three and one more in the works

not only because they are just so close and lovely together, but also, because Kishaun is a photographer herself… Us photographers feed off of our models’ energy and interaction, and these guys were extremely easy to photograph. Kishaun and I often stopped and talked about values and obstacles of being a female photographer. It was so much fun to find out that we basically go through the same situations, deal with the same issues and enjoy photography as much! We couldn’t go without some boudoir action, but those teasers aren’t for this blog

. I absolutely adore the three and wish Kishaun a short and safe delivery and happy Ftherhood and Brotherhood to Lorenzo and Khalil!

Sarah-May and I were planning our Vegas shoot for such a long time. You know how sometimes you plan things out and the scenario includes The most perfect locations with the most perfect and sunny Vegas weather? Well, we had Vegas surprise us with strong winds, rain and extremely ccccccoooooolllllllddd temperatures. Yes, it can be cold in Vegas. But it didn’t stop us from shooting their TTD session. The most inviting place that day was Old Vegas… The guys did really well being good sport about cuddles, giggles and laughs! You guys are soooo awesome and comfortable together! I wish you all the greatness and love in the world, and I hope your Hawaii Island hopping was unbelievable!!

Kirsty and Hugh, they will always make me smile. These two are the most genuine, loving, giggly two people I have ever met. I can honestly say that this was probably one of the easiest shoots I had to do. The spark and energy between those two are addicting. You really want to be around them like all the time! And their family is awesome! Aside from treating us as a part of them, take a listen to the gifts they got for the newlyweds: a day with red fab Cadillac and a night at one of Palms’ Penthouse suits with a jacuzzi overlooking the Strip! Which means that we got to experience these as well

! Anyways, guys: we will miss you so much! Enjoy the preview!

Vicki-Lynn and Bryce came to get married to Vegas from Montana. They brought the fun, the cowboy boots, the funnest crowd and lots of love! They are both super sweet, fun and down to earth! They did their first look at the most amazing place in Vegas: Neon Boneyard, their ceremony was held at the gorgeous Guardian Angel Cathedral and their fun continued at Las Vegas Country Saloon right in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas! I don’t know how they found all those places but they all were amazing in their own way. It was refreshing for me to experience the real mass as opposed to quick chapel wedding. And the Saloon was just amazing! It had this awesome vibe, the stage lights, the bull rides, everything was designed for the most fun celebration! Everyone was absolutely inviting, open, kind and may I say: GORGEOUS!

Thank you guys for the unforgettable celebration! Vicki-Lynn and Bryce, keep on loving, keep on laughing! I will always remember you guys that way!!! I miss your hugs already!

Rori and Gordon are the sweetest people I have met in a while. Before the shoot I asked what they’d wear and Rori replied: gold lame dress and suit and leopard shoes. I thought to myself: Ah-shmazing! But then I caught myself thinking: what did Rori mean by lame? Is there another meaning to it? So I started browsing the web for something I don’t know

. Well, let me tell you Rori: there is absolutely nothing lame about your looks!!! You were the most awesome couple Rocking the Boneyard! It was so easy to be around these guys! And when Gordon started singing Viva Las Vegas and leading Rori in the dance, I sort of understood how he just won over her heart!

You guys are amazing, sweet and in LOVE! The best recipe for long life together!

Meet Kristen, Brad, Taylor, Hannah, Sydney, Sully and Gunnar! I loved photographing this Brady bunch! Bribed with McDonald’s after the shoot, they all were so awesome in front of the camera! We started with little Gunnar, who was just such a good boy, that I would prize him with the BIG McFlurry if I could! No I wouldn’t

, mama’s milk is the best

. And when everyone came from school, we shot around their house and a little park area. I just love seeing how differently awesome each one of them is, and being able to capture them was just a blessing!

As much as I LOVE Vegas, its neon lights, its character, its sexiness, nightlife, crowds of people at all times, fabulous food, I also love to get away from it. And one of those places is Lake Las Vegas. I think I mentioned before that my absolutely favorite place for small weddings in Vegas is Loews Lake Las Vegas. It is far enough from the Strip not to smell the smoke, and close enough that you can still see the Strip in certain spots

. I love coming to the Lake for jazz concerts, cultural events, some good gelato with my daughter, and I am always thrilled when I get contacted to photograph weddings there! This couple is beautiful, nope , they are just gorgeous! Cynthia and Stefano came all the way from Toronto to say their “I do’s” in front of their closest family and friends. It was a beautiful day, beautiful place and perfect occasion to come together! Thank you guys for allowing me to capture your love and share this event with you! Wish you love, and smiles, and please do not lose the love in your eyes when you look at each other!

This day will remain in my heart as one of the most incredible Vegas wedding I have ever shot. It seemed that the Lady Luck herself was helping Holly and Shawn to have the most perfect day in Vegas! From the weather to Elvis providing us with the most perfect soundtrack while we tried to get to the Bellagio fountain show, hence the music

. I must say “Viva Las Vegas” played in my head the whole day! And it still does, it has for 3 days already

. Well, I enjoyed getting to know these two awesome fast walking constantly laughing Canadians and their bundled funny as heck group! I will miss you! I know you are leaving the town tomorrow! And I’m wishing you all the love and luck in the World!!! Alright, I’ll chip a bit for myself

I absolutly loved shooting with Tonya and John. We lucked out on an amazing weather! Yeah, any weather below 90F, cloudy and moody with rain and  thunder stands for the perfect weather in my dictionary

.

Anyways, I met with Tonya last year while she was in Vegas to talk about her wedding plans and to find out more about her and John. I found out that John was quite an awesome poker player and Tonya loved architecture. Well, when finalizing the shoot locations, I had that in mind, and between the most awesome locations in Vegas, I suggested to have one of our backdrops to be one of Frank Gehry’s project for Cleveland Clinic Center for Brain Health. Only later I found out that Gehry is Tonya’s favorite architect and she even has a couple of pieces of jewelry from his collection. Yay!

It was an easy day, loving crowd, and let me mention the custom shot glass designed with Vegas theme, and the wedding date! It’s such an awesome idea, I can’t even get over it!

P.S.: I get a lot of clients who visit Vegas, they get married here and want awesome shots capturing the Fab Vegas. The list of locations I recommend are basically the most fun spots that I personally would love to take home with me after the trip to Vegas: Neon Museum, Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas, Welcome to Las Vegas sign, Desert with cactuses and joshua trees, Red Rock canyon, etc. Any location you can incorporate into your day will give you a piece of Vegas. I just can’t get enough of them!

Guys, congrats and  Happy Happy Marriage to you! I know there will be laughter, I know there will be respect, and lots and lots of love!!! Thank you for letting us capture your day and showing again how fabulous Vegas weddings are!
