Aloha to all, as I cruise with my family on Oahu and am getting ready for our trip to the Big Island in Hawaii! The weather is super nice, I’ve already got a layer of tan going on, and it’s only a start of the program:)… Discovering some awesome places to hang out, eat or visit… Hope to share them when I get back and get more footage. I am having a b-shoot in mind while in Hawaii, jut because the backdrops are magnificent out here… And of course more pic of my girlie. For those who don’t know: her name is Yana and she is almost 4! My gosh how time flies! Meanwhile enjoy your summers!

Taylor + Brian | Mandalay Bay Wedding in Las Vegas

So Taylor and Brian brought some love to Vegas all the way from Chicago. Beautiful couple with an amazing and touching story was everything I wanted to photograph! Starting from their personalities (that I started to get to know from Taylor’s cute fashion blog and her Twitter way before their date), to their outfits to the limits they were willing to be pushing with us. We had to work with an amazing couple at an amazing location: Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. And by we I mean me and the guest photographer who is an amazing friend of our family from Hawaii: Shawn Fields with Black Tie Cinema. Shawn came up with some a-m-azing shots through the shoot!

I must say I am all about the fusion in my style, and post processing, and I often like to mix it up a bit… So when Shawn told me he wanted to help me out for this wedding, I was so on board! This way not only it’s fun for me, it is also a great way for the couple to get a mix of creativity in their wedding photos… So let’s see how all that jazz turned out;)!

ALSO, I have a big favor to ask all of you: Mr Brian (aka “the groom”) was super shy about taking his pictures, and mentioned something about never having them taken again:), so I wanted to give him a great cheer and for everyone to let him know how great he was as a model! Please leave some love for him in the comments box!!!

She is awesome. He is super cool. They are FUN. Their wedding was THE BEST EVER! (aka “THE SHIT” by Jared)

Wow, I don’t even know where to start. First off, when I heard Lauren and Jared were engaged, I was super excited for them. I met L&J at Jill and Alan’s super fun Vegas wedding last year and got to know a bit of their fun personality then. So when I got an email form Lauren, I was so on board!!

They got married at Long Beach, CA at the Grand Event Center. First off, hats off to Lauren for planning the wedding so thoroughly… I think it was the only wedding, where the reception tables were all set up by 9am while the ceremony time was 6pm! I still remember one wedding I shot where the bride had to install the runner while in her wedding dress… So anyways, besides all the details and attention that was invested in preparation, the 250 guest event was full of FUN, LOVE, BOOZE (;)), amazing ENERGY and character coming from L&J and their closest friends:).

So on to the photos… We started the journey at the Syndicate Barber Shop in Long Beach, where all the boys got their groom on;). Awesome place with the character: 50’s era barber shop with retro gadgets, tattoo art, men’s magazines, booze and smoke is the ultimate place for the boys and photographers like me:). It just had a character, that a lot of places are missing nowadays… Loved it!

Isn’t this place awesome? BTW that was Jared getting the ultimate make-over!

And then there was the wedding day! Meet Lauren and her Louboutins:)(mniam!)

Yukie + Shawn | Las Vegas Wedding Photographer

I was contacted to shoot Yukie and Shawn’s wedding by my previous client, who is also Yukie’s aunt:). This beautiful wedding took place at Los Prados golf club in Las Vegas. I loved the intimate feel of the ceremony site that Los Prados provides. We had the weather throwing feet for us though:). Rain-sunshine caprese delayed the ceremony but it was well worth waiting;)…

Congrats Yukie and Shawn for making your unity official, I couldn’t but notice the LOOK, the LOVE you were sharing between each other! It was all over the air! LOVE, I mean;)

DOTT PHOTOGRAPHY studio is now officially closed till mid-May

We are officially closed for the photo shoots till mid-May. I wanted to say DO SVIDANIA (Russian: “See you”) to all my followers, as I will be gone in my home country Belarus till mid May. When I return I have lots of shoots to catch upon and lots of shoots booked.

For my lovely boudoir clients: the first open spot I have will be May 21, so please keep that in mind when inquiring about your shoot. I will try to stay on top of my emails, my phone will be turned off though. So feel free to email (info (at) dottphotography.com for portrait, commercial and wedding related sessions or IseeSexy (at) dottphotography.com for boudoir sessions, as this would be my preferable means of communication.
